    About this opportunity:Fife Steel Basketball Club (FSBC) are looking for enthusiastic basketball Coach Support volunteers to help with the delivery of basketball for players during practice, including the delivery of basic basketball skills to players at a high level, including supporting team sportsmanship, encouraging players enjoyment in the sport.
    To be successful as a Coach Support, you should have an awareness of basketball and have good communication skills. Ideally a Coach Support should be physically active and have good leadership skills.
    FSBC are looking for Coach Supports who can enthuse players of various ages through different evening training sessions during the week, and/or who can run fter School or Lunch Time sessions with the support from other Coaches.
    FSBC delivers sessions to a wide group of abilities & ages from 7-76 year olds, for all genders. Training sessions start with the Under 10's through to Fife Steel Men who compete a local and regional level.

    Training provided:The person will be given an initial induction to the club, then asked to shadow existing Coaches. PVG and valid First Aid Certificate required.

    Yes - Travel expenses will be discussed with volunteers on an individual basis.

    Experience required:Knowledge of basketball. Good physical condition. Be able to motivate players. Good leadership skills. Attention to detail. Having good concentration skills.

    Travel DetailsFife Steel Basketball Club is based in Kirkcaldy. Training sessions are mainly at Balwearie High School, St Andrews High School and Windmill Community Campus at various times from 6pm to 9pm.
